Allie! How do you know when your pancreas has a physical problem? 

There are some obvious symptoms--diabetes is clearly a pancreas problem. 

But obesity and overweight can be linked to the pancreas; back pain can be linked to the pancreas; digestive problems can be linked to the pancreas. 

The pancreas manages blood sugar.

When we have blood sugar regulation problems, digestive problems, this can be linked to the pancreas. 


 the emotional side of the pancreas

As I mentioned earlier, the pancreas also deals with how we process the SWEETNESS in life. 

When things are stressful, so many times our bodies react with cravings for SWEETNESS to make up for the bitterness of our difficulties. 

This is a special session on the pancreas and APPETITE. 

If you are experiencing unusual cravings or are overeating, this is an excellent session to help support your pancreas and help your pancreas reset when it comes to WHAT it feels called to eat. 

I prepared the session yesterday and this morning: 18 images we'll be working through to heal the root causes of appetite issues in the pancreas. 

Here are some of the things that have come up to work on with the pancreas: 

- The Eat --> Sleep --> Eat cycle--the image that came up was a bear frantically eating honey in preparation for hibernation. Are we eating so we can sleep and sleeping so we can eat? 

- The CLOCK and TIMER in the pancreas. The pancreas decides WHEN we get hungry. Here we reset the body's natural rhythms to eat food at appropriate times. 

- Ancestral issues of food scarcity, starvation, and famine that the pancreas is still processing today. 

- Rejection of taste variety--prioritizing sweet over other tastes like sour and bitter (which are necessary for our health--the liver in particular needs plenty of bitter things to be healthy!). 

That's just 4 of the 18 things we'll be working on to help reset our appetites in this video.  Let's all get our pancreases back in shape after this long stressful COVID season!
